Disappointing experience. I’ve been curious about this place for some time, but the pizza was unimpressive, very dry with a dough and ingredients quality similar to a grocery store frozen pizza. Not what I expected from an Italian Club. I won't be returning.

For the last few years Providence (now part of Henry Ford) hospital honors their volunteers with a luncheon! And The Italian American Club does just a phenomenal job taking care of all of our needs and preparing a wonderful meal!

Our family has been a member of the IACL since 1994 with the completion of the beautiful new building! We have enjoyed family wedding receptions, bridal showers, baptism's, holiday events, etc and now our 4 grown children and their families, including 11 grandchildren are members and enjoying it as well. Many in our family are enrolled in the Italian classes held at the club, adults and children. Let me just add, that when I enrolled in classes 3 years ago, I did not know any italian language. I have since learned to speak, read and write in proper italian grammar, language and writing. The teachers are professional fluent italian natives who know what it is like to have to learn a language, English and they show compassion and care during instructions. Anyone interested in learning the italian language in a fun and educational setting, I encourage you to come to our Club for instruction, we have great teachers. Andiamo!

The building is absolutely beautiful, and the atmosphere is very warm and welcoming. It’s a wonderful place to visit, and you can tell a lot of pride goes into keeping it inviting and well-maintained. However, if you’re signing up for the Italian language classes, it’s important to know that they are designed more for individuals who have previously studied or spoken Italian—perhaps those who took it in high school or college and want to refresh their skills. This is not a true beginner’s course. If you have no prior exposure to the language, you may find it challenging and might be better off starting with a college-level beginner class instead. The instructors are native Italians and very knowledgeable, but their teaching style is best suited for those with some past experience in the language. That said, the club itself is fantastic for events, parties, and weddings. The facility and staff make it a great place for gatherings, and the overall environment adds a special charm.

Went to listen to an Italian singer who did a wonderful performance. The venue was alright, the food was average, prices were fair. They do not have table service but the self service aspect was efficient. Overall decent experience.
